Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all drivers.
  • Utilize a forklift for loading and unloading freight trailers.
  • Assist with documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with the Logistics Manager and Supervisor to mitigate quality control challenges.
  • Engage in regular safety and compliance training sessions.
  • Conduct warehouse inspections to identify issues and adjust routes accordingly.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports to the internal team, highlighting any operational challenges, suggestions for enhancements, and specific deliveries that require monitoring.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to four years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Experience with Bearware software is advantageous.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks is required.
  • Must be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
