Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Threat Hunter to join our team in the National Capital Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Cyber-Threat Hunt lifecycle, including creating and improving enterprise-specific Threat Models and threat hypotheses.

  • Manage the entire Cyber-Threat Hunt lifecycle, including creation and improvement of Threat Models and threat hypotheses
  • Plan and scope Threat Hunt campaigns, missions, and activities against various threat types
  • Identify enterprise defense gaps and propose potential mitigation activities

The ideal candidate will have at least 8-12 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat hunting and analysis. A bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) or a related field is required. The candidate must also hold a Public Trust clearance or higher, with DHS or CBP preferred.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in network and host-based analysis and investigation
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing threat hunt missions
  • Understanding of complex Enterprise networks and common networking protocols
  • Familiarity with operation of both Windows and Linux based systems
  • Proficient with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
