Senior Site Superintendent

The Senior Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing site superintendents and leading them through on-site coordination of their projects. This role acts in a supportive and mentoring capacity, working closely with the Manager of Sites to have an overall knowledge of all job sites.

• Oversee the direct supervision of Site Superintendents.
• Maintain and enhance Elements culture and MIGS.
• Deliver regular reporting of site status and personnel to the Manager of Projects.
• Visit job sites regularly to monitor job progression, personnel engagement, schedule analysis, MIGS implementation, and company culture.
• Mentor site personnel and collaborate with them on training, education, and development.
• Work closely with other Elements departments to ensure support is given to site superintendents.
• Examine daily reporting and analyze it for accuracy and schedule.
• Support, implement, and enforce Elements processes and procedures.
• Have a keen eye for safety implementation on job sites and work with other Elements personnel to ensure the management of risks.
• Collaborate with Manager of Projects, Labor Administrator, and Project Managers to ensure staffing is adequate and capable.
• Ensure each site superintendent has opportunity for professional development and facilitate the development.
• Work with HR to prepare and deliver regular employee evaluations for those under their department.
• Serve as the stopgap and support for critical on-site situations that occur.
• Collaborate with appropriate leadership to enhance the development of field personnel.
• Serve as a liaison between site superintendents and Project Managers, fostering communication and collaboration.
• Problem solve site-specific issues as they arise.

• High school diploma.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Participation in Elements leadership programs and assessments.
• 10+ years' experience in project supervision and diversified commercial construction knowledge.
• Exhibited humble leadership style.
• Experience implementing process strategies.
• Understanding and reflection of Elements MIGs (Partnerships, Culture, Risk Management, Deliverables) and company culture.
• Self-management and drive are key to success in this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, MS Project, and Paylocity.
• Ability to work closely and cooperatively with others.
• Competency in building and effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels.
• Proficient and effective communicator with high attention to detail.
