Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team at the Lactalis US Yogurt facility in Brattleboro, VT. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
Key Responsibilities- Product Receipt and Storage: Receive and store products in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate inventory management and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, rotate products to ensure freshness, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting production schedules and customer demands.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a stand-up forklift/truck in a fast-paced environment, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on products, identifying and addressing any issues or defects.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the supply chain team to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, with 3-6 months of related experience and/or training.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve processes.
The Warehouse Associate will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a cold storage warehouse.
