Job Description

This role involves collaborating with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide crucial support in delivering speech and language services to students. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting screenings and assessments under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Implementing therapy activities and interventions as guided by the supervising SLP.
  • Supporting students to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
  • Assisting in developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans in coordination with the supervising SLP.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and communicating effectively with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
  • Contributing to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant program.
  • State certification or licensure as required by regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.
