Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Prep Cell Unboxer to join our team at the OKC Distribution Center. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for unboxing and preparing merchandise for delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unbox and prepare merchandise for delivery, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and staged for shipment.
  • Install feet and knobs on furniture, and assist with wiping down and placing merchandise in the staging lane.
  • Stock all cages with merchandise, and ensure that all items are properly labeled and organized.
  • Assemble merchandise for next day deliveries, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
  • Inspect merchandise for functionality, damages, defects, and imperfections, and use proper procedures when working with knives, flat carts, and lifting merchandise.
  • Account for all scheduled items for next day delivery, and assist other departments in the warehouse as needed.
  • Check daily closing assignments and responsibilities, and use excellent customer relations when working with internal and external customers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs, communicate effectively with team members, and work in a fast-paced environment. You must also be able to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing/listening.

This is a safety-sensitive position, and you must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and conditions.
