The McShane Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join their team. In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of construction projects, focusing on multi-family housing, senior living, and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review plans and specifications to ensure project compliance.
- Manage jobsite logistics, including trailer, signage, material staging, and temporary utility access.
- Implement safety measures to conform with OSHA standards and maintain a safe workplace.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and identify critical paths to meet desired schedules.
- Conduct periodic project inspections and monitor labor productivity.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family construction, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete experience.
- College education a plus.
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction, technology, equipment, methods, and local market preferred.
- Strong leadership/management skills and proven record of building on schedule.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work productively with others, and foster solid client relationships.
