Job Description Summary:- The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety of all individuals on campus, including visitors and staff. This role involves monitoring activities, conducting regular patrols, and responding to various incidents as necessary.
Essential Functions:
- Adheres to established protocols to protect the institution's assets, personnel, and guests.
- Maintains vigilance across all areas, addressing any safety or security concerns that may arise.
- Responds swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, demonstrating sound judgment.
- Facilitates conflict resolution among guests and manages crowd control during events.
- Performs thorough inspections of the premises during opening and closing hours.
- Conducts routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience is required.
- Willingness to participate in security and first aid training programs.
- Competence in using computers for various administrative tasks.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

- This position operates under general supervision and reports directly to the Security Manager.
The role requires various physical activities, including bending, climbing, and prolonged standing. The officer must remain alert and capable of assisting during emergencies.
