Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including administering medications, drawing blood, and collecting laboratory tests.
- Assist with patient triage, preparation, and examination, prioritizing critical demands and exercising independent judgment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of nursing practice and patient outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of California.
- Certification in Intravenous Therapy (LVN IV) issued by the state of California.
- BLS certification at time of hire, with commitment to obtain BART within six months.
- A minimum of two years of LVN experience, with a strong background in critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Experience working in an infusion center or ambulatory outpatient clinic.
- One or more years of oncology experience, with a focus on patient education and symptom management.
This is a full-time position, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday and occasional weekend work. The successful candidate will be required to work various hours and locations based on business needs, with a willingness to work overtime as required.
