Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Specialist to join our team at Poudre School District. This is a long-term substitute position that will provide coverage for a leave of absence during our second semester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and provide therapy in the area of speech/language for students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
  • Develop, plan, prepare, and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) based on student needs.
  • Apply learning techniques to enhance/motivate students to meet IEP goals and objectives.
  • Maintain necessary documentation of student performance and write clear and concise diagnostic results.
  • Communicate students' progress and needs with parents and other staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
  • Experience working with children identified with speech/language needs in a public education setting preferred.
  • Valid Colorado Special Services license with Speech Language Specialist endorsement required.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications encouraged.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $54,329 - $81,728 annually, based on years of experience and education. Benefits include PERA retirement and a probationary position with the opportunity to retain contract status for PSD employees currently under a licensed contract.
