Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team of Court Evaluators. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the inpatient treatment process, conducting evaluations and providing expert testimony in court cases.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic interviews and records reviews to determine the need for involuntary commitment.
- Administer, score, and interpret assessment measures to inform treatment recommendations.
- Prepare written reports summarizing patient history, assessment process, and results.
- Provide assessment feedback to clients, treatment providers, and family members.
- Perform Civil Commitment evaluations, including records review, consultations, and in-person interviews.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary treatment teams to develop treatment plans and discharge strategies.
- Prepare court documents and provide expert witness testimony in civil commitment cases.
- Doctorate degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Clinical licensure (or license eligible in Washington State within 6 months of employment).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to utilize electronic medical record management systems.
- Experience in court evaluation or the legal system.
- Knowledge of Washington Administrative Codes and statutes related to involuntary treatment and client rights.
