We're seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our PRN staff at BURLESON NURSING & REHABILITATION. As a PRN staff member, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and location, with multiple center locations to choose from each day.

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the LVN will provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations. The LVN will also supervise the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff in the delivery of direct resident care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State. You'll also need to have the ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees. Other requirements include the ability to maintain regular attendance, supervise other employees, and work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives. You'll also need to meet all local health regulations and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment. In terms of physical and sensory requirements, you'll need to be able to walk, reach, climb, bend, lift, grasp, and perform fine hand coordination, as well as push and pull. You'll also need to be able to hear and respond to pages, distinguish smells, tastes, and temperatures, read and write, and communicate both verbally and in writing with residents, families, personnel, vendors, and consultants. Finally, you'll need to be able to remain calm under stress and have a BLS certification.
