About the Role

Eckard Enterprises, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Reservoir Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will be responsible for leading engineering efforts on acquisitions of both marketed and non-marketed opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering efforts on acquisitions of both marketed and non-marketed opportunities, utilizing your expertise in production forecasting, upside potential evaluation, and high-level scoping of acquisition opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Geology, Land, Operations, and other departments to update economic parameters for acquisitions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the acquisition process.
  • Optimize internal systems for the acquisition process using 3rd party reservoir engineering software, streamlining our operations and improving efficiency.
  • Monitor and prepare reports for drilling and completion activity on acquired mineral and non-operated working interest assets, providing valuable insights to our team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Petroleum Engineering, with a strong foundation in reservoir engineering principles.
  • At least 3 years of oil & gas engineering experience, with a focus on unconventional shale basins and reservoir development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Spotfire, PHDwin, and/or ComboCurve, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
