At Della Infotech, we are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Mattoon, IL. As a Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures, including quality control, training staff, and assisting physicians in bone marrow preparation.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily quality control and record data.
- Collect blood and swab samples from patients as needed.
- Assist physicians in bone marrow preparation.
- Perform proficiency testing for CAP Surveys.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology.
- AMT or ASCP certification.
- Cerner Experience.
- Beckman Coulter analyzers Experience.
- Remisol Experience.
- Two Supervisory Reference Forms.
- Skills Checklist.
Certification Requirements
- ASCP certification.
Work Schedule
- Every other weekend.
On Call Requirements
- No on-call requirements.
