Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive multipoint inspections of vehicles.
- Communicate any additional service or repair requirements to service advisors.
- Utilize hand or air-powered grease guns to service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles.
- Inspect fluid levels in various vehicle components, including steering gears and transmissions.
- Monitor and adjust tire pressure as needed.
- Apply specified lubricants to moving parts.
- Drain and refill engine oil as required.
- Add coolant to radiators and batteries.
- Replace oil and air filters.
- Examine vehicles for potential additional repairs.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and codes of conduct.
- Follow safety procedures to minimize exposure to harmful substances.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must meet the employment criteria set by the organization.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and information.
- Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance practices.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate manual transmissions.
- Previous experience as a technician's helper or apprentice is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
