Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing direct resident care, including personal care, ambulation, and vital sign monitoring. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care, and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing assistive devices and body mechanics as needed
  • Monitor vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Record resident data, including intake and output, food consumption, and other relevant information
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Assist with the collection of data for the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and the plan of care
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to residents, promoting a positive and respectful environment
Requirements:
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the state
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, making decisions quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
Working Conditions:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and a high level of patient contact. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Certified Nursing Assistant will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established infection control procedures.
