Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our hospital's respiratory department. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering respiratory care services to patients with a range of respiratory conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation
  • Maintain accurate department and hospital records, including therapy information
  • Perform procedures with care and empathy for patients
  • Work independently in the absence of the full-time Team Leader
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
  • American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification
  • ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire
  • Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
