Job Summary: As a Material Handler at VIP Staffing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping products, and maintaining inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks, receiving raw materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products.
  • Maintaining shipping and receiving logs to ensure accurate counts and product condition.
  • Moving raw materials to the production area and finished products to inventory.
  • Replenishing materials as needed and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Interacting with various departments to perform duties and controlling costs by ensuring materials are stored safely and accounted for.
  • Verifying customer sales orders from warehouse stock and preparing freight bills and shipping documents using computer systems.
  • Packing customer sales orders, calculating shipping costs, and checking received materials for damage.
  • Using scanners, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move stock or material, unpacking, checking, and verifying received materials against packing lists.
  • Operating computers to receive materials, query part information, and stock materials in assigned bin locations.
  • Communicating with the freight company, other department staff, and following established procedures, work instructions, and operational controls to comply with legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Loaders and unloaders trucks, receive raw materials and products, picks, packs, wraps, labels, and/or ships products.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving logs and ensures that incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition and accurate counts.
