Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Specialist to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network. As an Exercise Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fitness programs for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct medical history screenings, needs analyses, and fitness assessments to create personalized exercise programs.
- Design and implement exercise programs based on client needs and monitor progress.
- Instruct clients on proper exercise technique and equipment usage.
- Provide annual fitness assessments and quarterly program reviews.
- Offer advice on nutrition and weight control.
- Assist with sales duties and provide excellent customer service.
- Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, health and physical education, or a related field.
- Master's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, physical education, or healthcare administration preferred.
- American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist or National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) preferred.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Program required.
- High motivation and energy level.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
