Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Java Developer - WebLogic & Unix to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications using Java/J2EE technologies, preferably in a Unix environment.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing applications using Java/J2EE technologies, preferably in a Unix environment. They will also have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in developing/maintaining applications using C/C++ technologies, preferably in a Unix environment.

The key qualifications for this role include:

  • Strong understanding of multi-tier architectures, including web servers, caching, application servers, and load balancers.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple technologies, including Java/J2EE & middleware (WebLogic, Apache, Spring Boot, etc.) technologies in UNIX environment and Scripting languages such as UNIX Shell.
  • Build automation / CICD pipeline integration tools (Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Artifactory, etc.).
  • Relational databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Information and application security, including LDAP, certificates, public key encryption, SSH, access credentials, etc.

The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal, relationship building, and team working skills. They will also have the ability to communicate effectively with various teams, both business and technical, to achieve goals.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn new technologies and identify process improvements and efficiencies. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
