Position Summary:
- The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is tasked with managing the entry, verification, and completion of inbound and outbound documentation, alongside data entry responsibilities. Familiarity with product and scanning processes is essential.
- Work Schedule: Thursday - Friday: 7:00 am - 6:30 pm and Saturday - Sunday: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory management and ensure quality control for customer products.
- Build strong relationships with customers to address service issues and concerns.
- Exercise judgment in inventory matters to guarantee complete order shipments.
- Coordinate the workflow of orders with traffic and operations teams for prompt dispatch.
- Manage billing and collection inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Essential Skills:
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as invoices, pick tickets, and customer orders.
- Strong numerical skills for calculations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in customer service, ideally within third-party logistics, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Capability to remain seated for extended periods.
