About the Role

Solvay is a pioneering chemical company with a legacy rooted in innovation. We're seeking a Senior Project Manager and Engineering Team Manager to join our team.

This role will be responsible for managing a local team of project managers and discipline engineers, as well as supervising projects in the assigned area throughout all stages of the project life cycle.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing assigned complex projects, interfacing with Global Business Unit management, and communicating progress to the Project Steering Committee on a monthly basis.

You will report directly to Solvay's Head of Projects and be accountable for ensuring safety is correctly implemented in projects, specifying project scope, and managing EPCM and Construction services.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant education degree in an Engineering discipline, a minimum of 8 years of experience in successful project management, and experience in working within and/or managing international project teams.
