As a Relief Pharmacist at Meijer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the medication and care they need. You will practice pharmacy in an environment that promotes patient care and education, including patient consultations and immunizations. You will mentor, train, and guide Pharmacy Technicians to provide exceptional patient service.

• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintains positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership.
• Holds pharmacy technicians accountable for results and has a vision to expand and grow the pharmacy business.
• Educates and mentors pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivates team members to perform to their highest level.
• Is competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures as well as state and federal laws.
• Has effective communication skills and is an agent of change.
• Has excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
• Lists to the patient and resolves patient's needs, customer service.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, will be responsible for the pharmacy operations.
• Performs and oversees (where allowed) clinical services, including immunizations.

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, working knowledge of policies and procedures, understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates.
