About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Associate to join our team at Summit Oaks Hospital. As a Mental Health Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with behavioral health or addiction diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction with patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics.
  • Participate in educational groups and respond to codes as part of the treatment team.
  • Take vital signs and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of psychiatric experience, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications, with the ability to obtain Verbal De-escalation and Handle with Care certifications.
