About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Spectrum Center Schools and Programs. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing speech therapy services to designated students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and parents to achieve speech therapy goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and develop individualized speech therapy programs for students based on treatment plan goals.
  • Implement speech therapy strategies and techniques to improve speech and communication skills, receptive and expressive language, cognition, and memory.
  • Monitor student progress, update treatment teams, and make necessary changes to service.
  • Manage case records, maintain accurate billing documentation, and establish effective communication with families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current state speech language pathology (SLP) license or ability to obtain.
  • Prior experience working with students with diverse needs in an educational setting.
  • Advanced problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication, with experience using relevant technology.
