Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Route Driver with Hazmat Endorsement to join our team. As a CDL Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up freight from various locations, including warehouses, stores, and industrial plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and pick up freight from specified locations, verifying freight with shipping papers.
  • Drive to specified locations, applying knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state and local driving laws, and hazardous material regulations.
  • Inspect the vehicle for mechanical and safety defects before and after each trip, and submit a report indicating the vehicle condition.
  • Maintain a Driver's Daily log according to Federal regulations.
  • Prepare shipping papers for freight received.
  • Interact with customers when delivering or receiving freight or collecting payment for goods delivered.
  • Perform warehouse work using material handling equipment.
Requirements:
  • Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with Endorsements for Air Brakes and Hazmat.
  • Literate with good communication and math skills.
