**Job Summary**

AtlantiCare seeks a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Therapy team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for performing medical physics activities in support of our organizational objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the execution of radiation safety programs and quality assurance programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Physics, Medical Physics, or equivalent as determined by the Director of Radiation Oncology/Medical Physics.
  • Board Eligible or Board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Minimum of three years' experience under the direction of a qualified expert, in addition to passing Part 1 of the ABR certification.

**Work Environment:**

The Medical Physicist will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, potentially exposed to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and injury. The essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
