Position Overview:

The role of the Maintenance Repairer involves ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery through comprehensive inspection and maintenance. This position is critical in maintaining the functionality of equipment within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and provide mechanical and electrical support during designated shifts.
  • Install, test, and repair various plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety evaluations on all equipment and machinery.
  • Execute electrical inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting for production equipment and plant power systems, including PLCs, I/O systems, and motors.
  • Engage in basic mechanical tasks such as sheet metal fabrication, building maintenance, and welding.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate effectively with relevant personnel regarding maintenance activities.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and updates to existing machinery by reviewing manuals and technical literature.
  • Provide emergency repair services as needed across all operational areas.
  • Utilize various fabrication shop equipment, including drill presses and hydraulic presses, to support maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Work in diverse environments, which may include exposure to dust and varying weather conditions.
  • Lift weights up to 50 lbs as required for maintenance tasks.
  • Navigate ladders and elevated platforms, as well as access confined spaces to perform necessary duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience is required, with certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Certifications are preferred.
  • Work authorization is mandatory.
  • Experience with Autonomous Maintenance and Progressive Maintenance is preferred.
