We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department RN to join our team at AdventHealth Bolingbrook. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, including assessing and coordinating patient care plans, and implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, including communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, and assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
- Work experience - 1 year of nursing experience in the ER highly preferred.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
