Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Scott Greenhalgh DDS. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities
  • Record and document patient health history and appointment details with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure the highest standards of infection control and sterilization of dental instruments.
  • Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans for patients with various dental conditions.
  • Identify and address dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, and cavities in a timely manner.
  • Provide thorough dental cleanings and apply protective sealants to prevent tooth decay.
  • Create a comfortable and reassuring environment for patients before, during, and after appointments.
  • Educate patients on optimal preventive care techniques for at-home maintenance.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Associate's degree and certification in dental hygiene, with a strong preference for higher levels of education.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene, with a valid state license to practice.
  • CPR certification and local anesthesia certification preferred.
  • Nitrous Oxide Administration certification also preferred.
