Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at St. John's Riverside Hospital. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care by providing exceptional food service and nutrition support.

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and complete various food service tasks related to patient feeding
  • Perform patient food service duties, including operating the dish machine, working on the tray line, washing pots, pans, and serving utensils, loading food trucks with meal trays, and preparing hot and cold food items as directed and following approved recipes
  • Operate food service equipment, assemble and deliver patient trays, set up and break down carts, trays, and different food service duties as directed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Ability to follow direction and work independently
  • Some knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, cleanliness, and neatness
  • Previous experience in the food service area preferred
Work Environment

This position requires working at all sites (Dobbs Ferry Pavilion, Andrus Pavilion, and Parkcare Pavilion)
