About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursing Department Head to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure excellent patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee the hiring and training of nursing staff
- Ensure adequate nursing staff and maintain current skills
- Oversee nursing employee conduct and performance
- Stay informed about incidents and assess the health needs of each resident
Requirements
- Current State RN license required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in long term care
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and supervision skills
