Cost Segregation Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Segregation Project Engineer to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating detailed cost segregation reports, conducting site visits, and collaborating with management staff to ensure the accuracy of reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct detailed cost segregation reports, including preliminary research, reviewing files, and confirming engagement agreements.
  • Conduct comprehensive site visits, documenting assets and common areas.
  • Input building assets into spreadsheets, write property descriptions, and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with management staff to ensure the accuracy of reports and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings, technical sessions, and training opportunities.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with sales teams and clients, addressing any issues promptly.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a four-year engineering or technical degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to read and understand architectural and engineering construction plans and specifications.
  • The willingness and ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
