Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Concessions Attendant to join our team at the Huntington Convention Center. As a Concessions Attendant, you will be responsible for selling concessions, including soft drinks and various food items, to customers at events. You will also be responsible for interacting with customers, resolving customer complaints, and performing sales transactions in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell concessions to customers at events
  • Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Perform sales transactions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Make change, accept acceptable forms of payment, and issue receipts to customers
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring that the cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as replenishing condiments and general supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the concession area
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
