About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Associate to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring seamless interactions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch customer service, ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting impression on our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to high standards of appearance and quality.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol and cigarette sales.
- Familiarize yourself with pricing policies and communicate any discrepancies to management.
- Accurately process sales transactions through the point-of-sale system.
- Carefully manage cash handling and ensure accurate accounting within company guidelines.
- Monitor competitor retail gasoline prices and report changes to management, adjusting prices accordingly when necessary.
- Protect company assets and perform tasks such as shoveling, spreading salt, and clearing ice from fuel dispensers.
- Maintain coffee supplies, refrigeration equipment, and overall cleanliness of the store, including shelves, coffee stations, and cold drink dispensary.
- Report maintenance issues, security concerns, and other emergencies to management promptly.
- Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management and assist in other departments as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, training programs, and opportunities for advancement.
Location and Schedule
This position is located at Rusty Lantern Markets #0063 in Turner, ME. We operate on a variety of shifts, including full-time and part-time schedules, and expect flexibility from our employees.
