Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist is a key member of our imaging team, responsible for performing a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including CT and MRI scans, under the direction of a radiologist.
- Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Two years of experience as a radiologic technologist, or one year of experience with a specialty modality.
- A formal radiologic technology training program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
- AHA BLS certification.
- ARRT and CRT certification.
- Fluoroscopy (RG RHF) certification.
