About the Role

LGCY Power is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PV Designer to join our team of solar professionals. As a PV Designer, you will play a critical role in designing code-compliant residential solar photovoltaic systems that meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute designs that adhere to grid compliance and permitting requirements
  • Maintain design compliance by referencing structural, electrical, and fire codes
  • Perform accurate system sizing calculations and create permit applications for submission in different jurisdictions
  • Design solar projects using multiple programs and software, and troubleshoot design and construction issues in the field
  • Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the team
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a regular office environment and communicate effectively with the team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to learn new computer and technical programs quickly
