Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Master Electrician to join our Facilities Department at Sullivan County. The successful candidate will be responsible for the physical maintenance and repairs of the County's electrical systems, ensuring they function safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects on electrical systems.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and replace electrical components to ensure systems function safely and efficiently.
  • Complete life safety required inspections and maintenance to ensure County facilities are in compliance with regulations.
  • Perform a variety of other maintenance duties to support the overall success of the Facilities Department.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of documentable work experience as a Master Electrician in commercial electrical contracting, installation, and maintenance.
  • Valid NH Master Electrician license and valid NH/VT driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Considerable knowledge of standard practices, tools, materials, and equipment of the electrical trade.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret complex wiring diagrams, plans, and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
