Actuarial Analyst II

Job Summary

The Actuarial Analyst II plays a critical role in completing projects and performing complex actuarial studies at Elevance Health. This position requires a strong understanding of actuarial principles and the ability to analyze and model data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtains, verifies, analyzes, and models data, including risk reporting and forecasting.
• Performs actuarial functions related to Elevance Health's Medicare Advantage business.
• Assists with forecasting, budgeting, and risk adjustment modeling.
• Interacts frequently with the Finance leadership team and Elevance Health's Medicare Advantage pricing team.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree and passing a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams are required, along with a minimum of one year of related experience. Alternatively, a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background is acceptable.

Work Environment

This is a non-management exempt position, working a 1st Shift (United States of America) schedule. The job family is ACT > Actuarial.
