### Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer at Johnson Controls, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced software solutions for monitoring and managing security cameras. Your expertise will drive innovations that shape the future of smart buildings and cities, enhancing safety and improving lives globally.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical guidance and leadership to ensure the development of robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
* Architect and develop software solutions that enable seamless device interactions, including video streaming and configuration.
* Continuously research and assess new technologies, methodologies, and processes to enhance the overall system architecture and development practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test enterprise applications for security products.

### Requirements

* 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in designing and deploying enterprise-scale systems.
* Expertise in WebRTC and real-time communication technologies is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in C++, with at least 3+ years of experience, and the ability to work within existing C/C++ ecosystems.
* Extensive experience with Linux development and debugging is desired.
* BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
