Mental Health Therapist

Pawnee Mental Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will provide high-quality mental health services to our clients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring seamless care coordination and optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying strengths and areas for growth, and develop targeted interventions to support client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with best practices and research-informed interventions.
- Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
- Current licensure as an LMSW, LPC, LMLP, or LMFT in the state of Kansas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations and professionals.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to travel to other offices, with occasional overnight stays.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions, such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
- Ability to provide addictions counseling and work with clients with co-occurring disorders.
- Fluency in a second language, with ability to work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
