We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Crisis Stabilization Specialist. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and child members. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective treatment plans, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
Essential Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for members with acute or chronic mental illness, in collaboration with our treating physicians and allied health professionals.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach.
- Conduct psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations, to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless care coordination, including referrals to community resources and external agencies as needed.
- Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation, contributing to the advancement of our Behavioral Health services.
- PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Must be familiar with DSM-V as a means of diagnosis.
- Has experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions.
- May be required to participate in the department on-call rotation.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods.
- Knowledge of the bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health.
- Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families, including administering and writing up psychological testing and assessment batteries.
