We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellness Nurse to join our team at The Blake at LPGA. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and services to our residents.

Job Summary:

The Wellness Nurse will be responsible for providing medical treatment and administering medication according to physician orders, as well as providing world-class care and service to our residents. This includes assisting residents with memory and performance improvement programs, working independently and with a team to make decisions, and documenting clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
  • Provide world-class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
  • Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
  • Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
Requirements:
  • A caring heart and a willingness to serve others.
  • Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred.
  • Current First Aid certification preferred.
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
