We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at ORSA Technologies LLC. As a key member of our supply chain operations, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting, and collaborating with our accounting team to verify receipt of invoiced items.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cycle counts and generate inventory reports, including dated reports and bin analysis.
- Verify returned customer items against invoices and billing, obtain vendor return authorization, and check for outdated or damaged returns.
- Issue customer credits, apply additional charges, and verify restock fees.
- Pull vendor recall items from inventory and process returns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Obtain dead stock and quarterly return authorizations, key returns, and notify the purchasing department of return timelines.
- Research and correct inventory issues and order discrepancies to conclusion.
- Reconcile purchase orders, identify errors between receivers, packing slips, and quantities on hand, and communicate with vendors to report damages, incorrect shipments, and shortages.
- Work proactively to foster a positive team-oriented atmosphere and promote the goals and common good of the company.
- Develop relationships and excellent lines of communication with internal and external key members, and develop a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of the company.
- Responsible for thoroughly understanding ORSA Technologies LLC's internal processes and products, and for infusing the company culture into interactions and business transactions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous warehouse, inventory, or distribution experience.
- Ability to perform all physical motions typical of inventory control, including bending, reaching, climbing, standing, or walking for long periods, and lifting/carrying/pushing/moving up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be accurate and have good attention to detail.
- Must work in a safe, efficient, and respectful manner with other personnel.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
- Basic math skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
- Strong computer skills required, VAI or similar warehouse management or operating systems is a plus.
- Dependable and able to work with little supervision.
- Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be a self-starter that can work with little supervision; must be flexible and have the ability to multi-task.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening.
