Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and Adhere to Safety Protocols: Familiarize yourself with Pneumatech's safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with Electrical Troubleshooting: Collaborate with experienced electricians to diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, and panels.
  • Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including switch gears, motor controls, electrical panels, lighting, powered devices, and DC systems.
  • Construct Electrical Systems: Use power drills, taps, saws, and basic hand tools to construct electrical systems, including panels, equipment, and raceways.
  • Install Power Supply Wiring and Conduit: Assist in the installation of power supply wiring and conduit, including EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, and cable tray.
  • Measure, Cut, and Bend Conduit: Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and bending equipment.
  • Trace Out Short Circuits: Use a test meter to trace out short circuits in wiring.
  • Examine Electrical Units: Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation, and tighten connections using hand tools.
  • Clean and Maintain Work Area: Clean and maintain the work area, including washing parts and tools.
  • Maintain Tools and Equipment: Maintain tools, vehicles, equipment, and keep parts and supplies in order.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-Year Electrical Experience: A minimum of 1 year of electrical experience is required, with 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Previous Oilfield Experience: Previous oilfield experience and knowledge is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Higher: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge, including Windows, email, internet, etc.
  • Good Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic Math Skills: Basic math skills, including reading and understanding technical information.
  • Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record is required.
