Job Summary

Nestled in a picturesque setting, Camp HiYo is a charming campground and RV park located in Homerville, OH, just outside of Cleveland and Lake Erie. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team this season. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep of our grounds and facilities, maintaining plumbing and electrical systems, and conducting routine inspections to guarantee safety. Previous experience in groundskeeping, plumbing, and electrical work is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift, bend, and squat. Compensation includes competitive pay for all hours worked, a discounted RV site, and accrued PTO. Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the campground and RV park facilities
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure safety and identify potential issues
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems
  • Assist with groundskeeping and landscaping tasks as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to lift, bend, and squat
  • Strong customer service skills
