Our Adult Surgical Unit, located in Lerner Tower 6, is a 30-bed division that provides care to patients with orthopaedic, neurological spine, surgery, and trauma needs.

As a nurse at University Hospitals, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including medical/surgical, ICU, emergency room, or psychiatric units. Our nurses are expertly trained to provide compassionate and advanced care to patients of all ages, from newborns to seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements
  • Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to protected health information (PHI)

We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients and staff. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures are in place to address the appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
