Per Diem Physical Therapist

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our inpatient and outpatient rehab team at our Woodlands Hospital. This supplemental position requires a minimum of 2 weekend days (Saturdays and/or Sundays) and 2 weekdays per 6-week period, with hours ranging from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
About the JobWe are looking for an experienced Physical Therapist who can provide exceptional patient care, assess patients' current conditions, and develop comprehensive treatment plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' current conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide advanced physical therapy treatments, including but not limited to exercises, stretches, and modalities
- Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
- Monitor patients' progress towards treatment goals and alter plans as necessary
- Motivate and instruct patients/caregivers using appropriate methods
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university-based Physical Therapy program
- Current license to practice Physical Therapy by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or by the Physical Therapy Compact Commission
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support
- One year of experience preferred
- Ability to commit to elected commitment schedule, with flexibility in scheduling and in moving within patient care areas when necessary
