Position Overview:

The Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in overseeing medical and clinical aspects of research studies, collaborating closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to ensure adherence to established protocols and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).

This role involves executing essential trial-related tasks and making significant decisions as delegated by the PI. The Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner is also actively involved in the informed consent process and contributes substantially to the research execution.


Key Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:


Providing consultations and educational support to participants in both inpatient and outpatient environments under the guidance of the PI overseeing the clinical trial.

Conducting thorough physical examinations and follow-up assessments related to the study.

Reviewing and strictly following assigned research protocols.

Collaborating with the leading PI to assess and review the eligibility of potential study participants.

Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with GCP standards.


Ensuring that all clinical activities are executed in alignment with established research protocols and regulatory requirements.

Working in partnership with a multidisciplinary team.

Evaluating laboratory results, imaging reports, and other study-specific documentation.

Verifying participant medical histories collected by the research staff and clinicians.

Engaging in communication with participants and their caregivers or informants.

Participating in all required training programs promptly.

Engaging in ongoing professional development through conference calls, webinars, and meetings.

Completing necessary training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and any sponsor-specific requirements.

Conducting participant interviews in accordance with study protocols, FDA regulations, GCP, ICH, and HIPAA guidelines.

Staying informed about all relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines pertinent to the role.

Supporting site operations in community outreach and recruitment initiatives.
