Job Summary:

The Respiratory Care Specialist administers therapeutic and diagnostic modalities in various patient care areas. This role involves implementing treatments, assessing patient responses, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement respiratory care therapies and diagnostic tests as prescribed by physicians.
  • Evaluate patient responses to treatments and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification or equivalent required.
  • Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • One year of experience in respiratory care preferred.
  • Associate's degree in respiratory care or related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum.
